The Judging System
(as definied by the KCP)

Championship Points are awarded according to the following system:
Minor Puppy and Puppy Classes:
- Very Good One - 3 Youth Championship Points
- Very Good Two - 2 Youth Championship Points
- Dogs graded Very Good Three and below get one Youth Championship Point each
Junior and Youth Classes:
- Very Good One - 5 Youth Championship Points
- Very Good Two - 3 Youth Championship Points
- Very Good Three - 2 Youth Championship Points
- Dogs graded Very Good Four and below get one Youth Championship Point each
Open Classes:
- Excellent One - 5 Championship Points
- Excellent Two - 3 Championship Points
- Excellent Three - 2 Championship Points
- Dogs graded Excellent Four and below get one Championship Point each
To become a champion, a dog must earn a total of 15 Championship Points but no more than 5 under any one Judge and must get at least one Excellent-1. Youth Championship Points earned from Minor Puppy to Junior Classes are only counted towards Youth Championship.
To become a Youth Champion, a dog muct earn a total of15 Youth Championship Points but no more than 5 under any one Judge and must get at least one Very Good-1.
